Our professional development sessions focus on building teacher capacity and expanding teacher's strategy tool kits in engaging and interactive ways.

Option 1 - Credit Card Purchases(s)

Then, follow the instructions to complete registration. (If registering someone else, please add the participant's name(s) and email address(es) to the "Notes" field on "Check Out.").
For schools that prefer an invoice, please send request(s) to [email protected] . Invoices must be paid by credit card at least eight (8) days in advance of the first Session.

SESSION 1: Do you still have students who have not cracked the code? How do we ensure our students are reading (decoding) and writing (spelling) by the end of the year? Come explore strategies for teaching in a 3-tier classroom. Effective phonics and high-frequency words lessons, data-driven small group/guided reading lessons, and purposeful literacy workstations that create effective readers and writers in your K-2 classroom will be modeled, shared, and practiced.

SESSION 2: What does effective comprehension and composition lessons look like in K-2 classrooms? we explored planning effective reading and writing lessons, along with the following research-based strategies: reading and thinking aloud, shared and interactive reading and writing, and authentic reading and writing opportunities.
